Sonette Garcia’s journey into early childhood education began uniquely. She previously worked for the Seattle Mariners, but after the birth of her second child, she decided to make a meaningful career shift. In 2008, she began working at her son’s Montessori preschool and immediately fell in love with the Montessori philosophy and its incredible impact on young children.

Since then, Sonette has built a life and career dedicated to supporting children as they learn, grow, and explore the world around them. As a proud mother of five children, she has not only taught in the classroom but also learned so much from her own kids along the way. Watching them grow has deepened her appreciation for the power of curiosity, independence, and hands-on learning.

Sonette brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love for children to everything she does. She is proud to be part of the Little Scholars Montessori Academy community, where she can continue sharing her passion for Montessori education and helping each child shine.
